OK been using this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I'm based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was actually embarrassing I never could figure out what an each way return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I'd guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet. Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most type in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. There's also the multiples trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I'd always mess it up. One thing that actually changed how I bet was the more serious extras. The odds-to-probability calculator which shows you the overround, and there's the kelly staking tool I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is handy too if I'm covering two or three runners. Couple of gripes. Its layout feels pretty plain zero frills, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it's usable though the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there's nothing on the app store, it's a website and that's it fine by me but worth saying. Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone still adds it up in their head, try it saves me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments. |
