Community Center "Akitsu " (1995)
Using material from local (wood material,
stone, soil wall material etc) abundantly.
The library of non-pillar space, the exhibition
room of atraditional construction method,
and the hall of laminated lumber dome had
three different forms,
and these were integrated to one molding
bythe continuation roof of an approach part.
Yasaka Mandara expresses a small universe
of this village ,with events, traditions,
nature, etc.of every four seasons.
Akitsu means"dragonfly" in Japanese
ancient tongue.
